Hooded Capelet with Flowers, Fairytale Cape, Blue Hooded Poncho, Elven Cape Cloak, Red Poppy Flowers, Halloween, Cosplay

I am fascinated with the richness of color of the red poppies in full bloom against the intense blue sky in a sunny day. The poppies only last for a day... So I made a capelet that captures their beauty for years to come.

This cape is a finished garment and is ready to ship. SKY BLUE hooded capelet with handmade poppies applique, you can't get it anywhere else (designed and made by yours truly). It is great for a Fantasy Princess or Fairy costume, Renaissance Fair, or a dressy outfit. Pretty rich dark blue polyester fleece (warm anti-pill fleece - practical for cool fall weather or for dress up, parties and more). The cape/capelet is 19" long with child-sized hood (perfect for a girl 2-8 years),has generous semi-circle cut, each cape is handmade to order and is unique and different from the others. Easy on/off hook-and-loop closure. The capelet is shown on an adult sized model, it will look more like a cape on a child (long enough to provide warmth, but short enough for ease of arm movement).

I love working with fleece - it is soft to the touch, very warm, looks great, is easy to work with and very easy care (machine wash, hang or machine dry). I even machine washed this capelet before taking pictures just to make sure that it will withstand the washing - and it came out as beautiful as it was before!
