It all started when my daughter was 5 and wanted to be Little Red Riding Hood for Halloween. I made a bright red fleece cape for her - she loved the style and softness, and I loved that she would be warm on a cold Halloween night. Then my son wanted to be a wizard, and I made a black fleece cape with fancy jeweled buttons for him. I love the way these bright and cozy fleece capes look and the way they encourage pretend play in kids of all ages. So, here it is...

Wine red (burgundy) hooded cape, great for RenFair dress, Elf, Gnome or LOTR. The cape comes in four lengths - 18'', 25", 32", 40" or 45", has generous semi-circle cut, custom length is available (please inquire), each cape is handmade to order. Pretty bright wine polyester fleece (warm anti-pill fleece - practical for cool fall weather or for dress up, parties and more). Two decorative buttons (easy on/off hook-and-loop closure). Choose your favorite buttons (last 3 pics in the listing - specify the style number when ordering the cape) or let me know what character/style you'd like and I'll try to get the best fitting style for you. Or add a big fleece bow. If you'd like a different style hood (extra large, think "Star Wars"), pointed or rounded (shown), or if you'd rather have a cloak with no hood (large flat collar, or no collar) - please, let me know.

The 25" cape will fit a girl 3-7 years old, 32" will fit 7-10 years old; either length will make a stylish capelet for a teenager or adult (choose adult hood). If you'd like custom length - please, inquire.

If you'd like the cape to fully cover your chest (even for plus sizes), I can make your cape even fuller (3/4 circle cut, see picture 4). If your 3/4 circle cape is longer than 32", it will have a seam in the back (due to the fabric width).
